We recently locked picture on PERSEPHONE and continue to make progress with post production.

On April 17, Jeremy Jones and Spencer Hutchings of BCDF Pictures will be engineering and recording part of the score, written by Gilles Malkine. The session will feature a string ensemble featuring local talent: Rob Murphy (violin) Siobhan Solberg (viola) Ling Kwan (cello) Lou (string bass) and Marisa Trees (flute).

After April 23, another recording session is being scheduled with David Baron at Edison Music. Two more scores will be recorded. ENTRY TO HADES featuring Ling Kwan (cello) and Robin Ludwig (slide guitar). DRIP, written by Adam Rejto will also be recorded and features Adam (12 string guitar) and Ling Kwan (cello).

These original recording will be mixed and added to two songs that have already been recrded: JACK OF HEARTS by Gilles Malkine (available on his new album TIME DOG) and QUEEN OF THE NIGHT by Chris Stein.

In addition to recording music, we are beyond thrilled to announce that Wyatt Sprague is coming on board as our sound effects and dialogue editor. Wyatt's credits include a few films that may be familiar to most including The Devil Wear Prada, The Aviator, Brokeback Mountain, The Big Lebowski.

Once all the music, sound effects and dialogue are prepared, the audio elements will make their way to CA Sound Inc. to be mixed by Coll Anderson, whose credits include Union Square, Martha Marcy May Marlene, Catfish, Restrepo

Meanwhile, Jeremy Newmark of BCDF Pictures will go through each shot in the film to color correct with DP Bryan Cloninger.

All the elements will then return to editor Chad Smith of Remote Access Post for some final editing including special fx and credits. Once done, we can order some master HD tapes. By May, we hope to have a finished film ready for submission to film festivals across the world.
